Siobhan McKay
Siobhan McKay is a Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) Surgeon at Northern Health, Melbourne. She completed her specialist training in the United Kingdom, including HPB and liver transplant training in Birmingham and at the Royal Stoke University Hospital, where she also served as Associate Specialty Lead for Pancreatic Cancer with the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Siobhan subsequently undertook advanced HPB fellowships in Australia at Royal North Shore Hospital, The Austin and The Alfred. She is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Melbourne and leads the Robotic HPB Working Group at the International Medical Robotics Academy (IMRA).
Her doctoral research focused on the molecular characterisation of cholangiocarcinoma, reflecting her ongoing commitment to advancing translational research and innovation in HPB surgery.
