My clinical expertise is in general gastroenterology with primary niche in pancreatic disorders. Helping patients with complex pancreatic diseases is my far most priority and this starts by improving the public knowledge base and understandings of pancreatic diseases, which will improve precision and choice of treatment offered.
My major clinical research interests involve the diagnosis and management of pancreatitis with primary focus in immune-mediated pancreatitis and exploring diagnostic and management algorithms for exocrine pancreatic insufficiency in addition to novel testing for exocrine pancreatic function.
My major academic/teaching interests are geared to improve medical trainees baseline knowledge in medical pancreatology, to ignite interest in the subspecialty, and provide solid foundation for graduating GI fellows to fill in medical pancreatologists unmet need nationally.
My major administrative interests are centered around streamline processing to achieve efficiency in clinical care with the goal of systematic expansion of offered quality care, along with exploring venues for revenue diversification.
